Vote NO on Amendment G
Amendment G:
Legalizes late-term abortions, including abortions after the baby is viable outside the womb and up to the point of birth
Denies parents the right to know if their underage daughter is undergoing an abortion procedure
South Dakota Constitutional Amendment G, the Right to Abortion Initiative, is on the ballot in South Dakota as an initiated constitutional amendment on November 5, 2024.
A “yes” vote supports providing for a state constitutional right to abortion in South Dakota, using a trimester framework for regulation:
During the first trimester, the state would be prohibited from regulating a woman’s decision to have an abortion; (legalized murder)
During the second trimester, the state may regulate abortion, but “only in ways that are reasonably related to the physical health of the pregnant woman;” and (legalized murder)
During the third trimester (right up to the point of natural birth), the state may regulate or prohibit abortion, except “when abortion is necessary, in the medical judgment of the woman’s physician (a Planned Parenthood abortionist who profits off of abortion aka legalized murder), to preserve the life and health of the pregnant woman.” (The US Supreme Court defined “health” to include all factors including physical, emotional, psychological, familial, and age)
A “no” vote opposes providing for a state constitutional right to abortion in South Dakota, using a trimester framework for regulation.
